Miles is currently the Group CEO of O’Keeffe & Swartz Consulting (Pty) Ltd, and group of enterprises employing some 1000 people in the business of direct sales of simple insurance products to the public and related administrative services.

Miles has an entertaining style, using humour and empathy to tackle “holy cows”. He has the ability to link seemingly unrelated issues and matters, and to assist you to see the relevance of many different things going on around us. Miles is passionate about South Africa and the potential of all of its people. He has the ability to help you to believe in yourselves and the people around you. Miles can also draw on his technical business knowledge, international operational experience and skills to assist you with complex issues and problems, including conflict and its resolution.

Miles is 51 years old and a passionate mountain biker with the scars to prove it. He has been married to Liz for nearly 28 years and has 2 gorgeous daughters.

Francois Coetzee is an entrepreneur with over 22 years experience in the software industry. He is the founder and CEO of Xpdian (Pty) Ltd specializing in the provision of solutions in the enterprise architecture space.
His interests are in human creativity and the enablement of human intelligence.
He is a Master Practitioner of NLP, a Master Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, a NBI Wholebrain Practitioner and a professional member of the Professional Speakers Association of South Africa.
He is easily fascinated.

 


COSTE, TARA


Dr. Tara Grey Coste is a Leadership and Organizational Studies professor at the University of Southern Maine. Her work focuses on refining the training processes that enhance creativity in teams and on teaching business professionals techniques to enhance their leadership abilities in multi-cultural, multi-national environments. She has published numerous articles and presented her work at venues around the world. She is a Colleague of the Creative Education Foundation, a Leader at the Creative Problem Solving Institute, a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Entrepreneurship of the University of Greenwich, Co-Founder of the International Forum of Creativity Organizations, and Past-President and Director of Research of the American Creativity Association.


COSTA, BILL


Bill Costa is a Senior Lecturer of Business Administration at Franklin
Pierce University. He teaches in the areas of Management, Marketing, and
Organizational Behavior and oversees the Senior Business Seminar and the
Comprehensive General Business Examination. In his applied work, he helps
entreneurial teamd develop and market their products and services. He is a
Colleague of the Creative Education Foundation and a Leader at the
Creative Problem Solving Institue. Over the last decade, he has
coordinated the Nite Flite Programs at both theCreative Problem Solving
Institute and International Creativity Conference in Africa. This year,
Bill served as the Conference Chair for the American Creativity
Association's International Conference 2009. Bill's interest lie in the
practical application of deliberate creativity techniques in the business
world.


D'ALESSIO, MARK


President and Founder of Think Ahead, Stay Ahead, Mark is recognized internationally for his work in three areas: strategic thinking, branding and innovation. He’s been associated with the creation of highly successful corporate visions, missions and systems perspectives as well as brands, products and marketing campaigns for clients as varied as Absolute, Adidas, Amoco, Animal Medical Center, Burger King, Chanel, Coty Worldwide, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, General Motors, Gillette, IBM, International Flavors & Fragrances, Mercedes- Benz, Nestle, etc. Mark creates programmes and trains trainers, executives, managers, inventors, artists, educators, clergy etc in how to manage change, lead creatively and strategically and uncover their own unexpected solutions.
His studies in anthropology, semiotics, philosophy, religion and theatre contribute to his unique approach.
Mark is a frequent public speaker, appearing before media, universities and organisations, including the New York Times, Le Monde, Harvard Club, Graymoor Spiritual Life Center and various trade associations and not-for profits. As a keynoter he has returned from Brazil (speaking on “The Spirit of Change”) and has lectured in the US and abroad on organisational development, marketing, branding and creative change. He has served on a variety of boards, served as Vice-President of the Creative Education Foundation. He is also a CEF Colleague, a Life Member and has received the CEF Distinguished Service Award.
In his spare time, he has raised a mixed breed lab/whippet mutt, is a devout foodie and has sweated it all off in 105°F bikram yoga sessions.

 

 

DEPASQUALE, DAWN


Over 10,000 leaders throughout North America, Europe, Great Britain and South Africa have been impacted by Dr. Dawn DePasquale’s “fun with substance” style of facilitation and training.  As a Master Trainer, she has worked extensively with industry-leader Development Dimensions International (DDI), as well as the Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc. to bring leadership, communication, customer service, and creative problem skills to blue chip companies and premier universities.

De Bruine, Quinten

Quinten de Bruine was trained as an environmental engineer. After finishing his study in 1996 Quinten became a management consultant at Nehem Consultants in The Netherlands. A few years later he became partner at this firm. Quinten worked with businesses in both the profit as in the non-profit sector. In the early years at Nehem the projects had a focus on (total) quality management and interim management. Generally the aim became more to make the mission explicit and implement it with the employees. Every employee got in a certain way involved in the realization of the mission. Involved and inspired, that are the key words.

After working at one of the largest logistical firms in the Netherlands Quinten started his own firm Widi Management Consultants a few years ago. His focus is to combine CPS with other proved management techniques. He uses theory with his practical experience in order to help his clients to obtain their objectives.


DODSWORTH, MARK


Mark Dodsworth is one of three partners at RedZebra, an experiential organizational development company operating globally since 1994 with offices in South Africa, the UK and the US. He is a leader at the annual Creative Problem Solving Institute and presents annually at international creativity conferences. In South Africa, Mark created the "We Can Beat It" campaign, which innovatively raises awareness about the HIV/AIDS pandemic and inspires people to take action in response to it.
Mark has been empowering people for 14 years using rhythm and creativity to actively engage people in communities and companies, helping them discover their individual potential. He is passionate about being an agent of change and utilizing his skills to build momentum for the African Renaissance. "I am excited to be living in South Africa again, to be working in a developing country with such vision and hope inspires me daily. Through my work I aim to create educational environments and experiences that enable people to unlock the child within, and explore that wonderful space of openness and learning, to connect with their own creativity and, in doing so, connect with others". Mark is a life-long student of creative arts, communication and people and his daily inspiration is the diverse world in which we live. Mark was born in South Africa and returned eight years ago. DOYLE, EILEEN


Eileen Doyle, President of Deeper Dives, provides highly interactive facilitation and market research.  She has guided diverse projects such as ideation sessions, team building, market research, TV casting, naming studies, diversity forums and ethnographies.  Eileen applies techniques that access right brain and left brain, creating an atmosphere where participants use all learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. These include creative problem solving, projective techniques, archetypes, leadership/communication preferences and laughter. She partners with clients to clarify goals and facilitate their progress to actionable results.

Eileen is a leader in the field of creativity, presenting engaging workshops at conferences in the U.S., Canada, Italy and South Africa.   She is a Colleague with the Creative Education Foundation, co-author of the soon to be published Even More Ways to Motivate Audiences and co-founder of the New England Creativity Group.  She’s MBTI ® Certified, Pearson-Marr Archetype Indicator™ trained, and Innovation Game® Certified.  Her favorite credentials are Certified Laughter Leader and international cat-sitter.

 


DU TOIT, DANIE & AMANDA

Danie is an independent facilitator, trainer and consultant who serves extensively in agriculture and industry. He comes from an engineering background and has been self-employed for the past 18 years. He received his training in Creative Problem Solving at CPSI, Buffalo, USA, through modular training since 1993. He enjoys working with groups, loves travelling, learning, growing and developing through a holistic approach. He is also an addicted roadrunner.
Amanda has attended a CPSI Springboard program in Buffalo and enjoys assisting Danie in many of his workshops.


DURR, MARITA

Marita is the Operations Manager at Solutionsfinding, a company that develops and provides specialist training in the use of the full battery of Neethling Brain Instruments (NBI®), equipping you with the tools to take responsibility for your own success.

Marita has a wide range of both education and business sector work experience, and is, apart from providing Solutionsfinding’s consultants with valuable help and support, involved in the development of a variety of new whole brain models in education, sport, etc.  

She holds a BA degree along with a variety of certificates and diplomas in counseling, play therapy, holistic reading and Brain Gym®. Previous roles have included 15 years in the educational field, mostly in special education.

Experience outside the educational field includes working for Remata iNathi Printing and Communication, while furthering her education in counseling.

Her strong interest in the human mind and the achievement of success was one of the main reasons for accepting the job at Solutionsfinding. Working closely with Dr Kobus Neethling and the other directors of Solutionsfinding is a privilege and bring truth to the statement: “If you love what you’re doing, you don’t have to work another day in your life”



ENGELBRECHT, MAGRIET


Magriet Engelbrecht has been a senior trainer for the Kobus Neethling Group for the past eight years. She has coached some of the most prestigious companies in creativity and Whole Brain thinking. She holds 4 degrees and a Higher Education Diploma, including an Honours Degree in English Literature and a Masters Degree [cum laude] in the teaching of English. Prior to working as part of the Kobus Neethling Group Magriet ran communication campaigns on behalf of government, including the Transitional Constitution campaign. These campaigns received a number of prestigious awards. She was also the Director of Communication of the National Department of Agriculture. When she is not training, Magriet practises as an energy therapist.


FLETT, MARLENE


Marlene Flett started her career as an Occupational Therapist and extended her qualification into Special Education. After 20 years of private and semi private practice she went back to the University of Pretoria to graduate in MA Counselling Psychology. She now has a successful private practice and specialises in SHIP® Therapy (Spontaneous Healing Intrasystemic Process), SHIP®forTrauma, Imago Relationship Therapy, Impact Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
She has had appearances as guest speaker at several seminars, charity-, church- and school functions. A variety of workshops at Denel (Armscor), ITC (International Training in Communication) and various Bush camps have also been facilitated by her. She has a keen interest in public speaking, and has won several National Speech Competitions as well as achieving third position in an International Speech Festival. Evaluation and adjudication of Oratory Contests is one of the ways that she gives back to the community.

In short, Marlene summarises her interests as: eating, gardening, squash, eating, reading, crafts, eating, crafts, creating beauty from nothing and definitely eating! She has a wonderful husband, Alex, and 4 amazing kids.

 


FRANCE, NEIL



Neil has been running Genesis Business Services in the UK for over twenty years.He is married to Heather and they have four children. Both have been involvedin promoting the Neethling Brain Profi le since the 1990’s and are both qualifi edMaster Practitioners. Neil explained that 2008/2009 has been without exceptionthe most diffi cult trading period ever with having to make redundant eight of hisnine consultants. His session will help you see the sales techniques that he usedto manage his consultancy through the credit crunch which saw 80% of his clientsgo bust. They included Bear Steams, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank to name but a few. The use of thinking creatively about where business could be won (not everyone’s doing badly!) and how whole brain selling hasnow enabled Genesis to grow again.

 

 


GIBSON, ALBERT S


Albert Gibson, after 30 years with Mars Inc., is an independent consultant in Southern California. His corporate work as MR Director bridged Marketing Research and Management Science emphasizing intercultural/international issues in strategic planning and organization development. His consulting work focuses on three areas of practice: complex decision analysis and sustainable business models. Albert's formal education is in Economics. His continuing education has emphasized facilitation of group problem solving and applications in consumer and team psychology. He is experienced with facilitation methods focused on strategic planning and creative problem solving.

Branko Broekman

Branko is a sculptor and innovation advisor, founder of CreAspect, a consulting firm serving individuals and businesses to exploit their innovative potential. Since ’97 he worked with numerous individuals, private and public organizations in Europe and the USA. He is a certified Master Coach in Intercultural Neuro-Linguistic Programming for individuals. Formally educated as landscape architect and environmental engineer, Branko discovered the strengths of creative problem solving  when he was working in the field of integral water management at the Ministry of Water Management and Public Works in the Netherlands. He is currently completing a Masters in Creativity and Change Leadership at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at Buffalo State College. In his business he combines his passion, knowledge and experience to advise, train and facilitate people to switch on their imagination and to create.
