WALL, KEN

Ken Wall is the creator and CEO of The Thinking Network™, a consultancy which originated in the UK in 1978.  The focus is on creativity and a more productive way of thinking - helping people and organisations think better, work better, do better.  Ken’s approach is based on the premise that teaching people in all walks of life just to ‘know’ more will be inadequate in the rapidly changing future – we need to learn to think more and think differently. Ken is also CEO of Whole Brain Thinking Pty Ltd – providing measuring and assessment instruments on thinking preferences and the implications for personal development in every conceivable role.

As a young man in the UK Ken pursued a career in engineering, only to find he felt like a fish out of water.  He was a ‘right-brain’ person in a ‘left-brain’ job. Driven by the thought that “work shouldn’t have to be like this” Ken left engineering to work in training for seven years, after which The Thinking Network™ was born. He also obtained Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Business Economics.

Ken is a visiting lecturer on future leadership, creativity, productive thinking and whole brain thinking in the MBA program at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.  He is a regular presenter on Personal Creativity, Productive Thinking and Business Innovation at International Conferences in Europe, the USA, Canada and South Africa.

Ken is an active member of Rotary International with a keen interest in community and international aid projects. He is currently working on a series of books for children – of all ages! Married to Angela for over 40 years and still madly in love, Ken has three children, two grandchildren and two dogs, one that can’t see and one that can’t think!
